Holistic Wellness to Host MEMO's Business After Hours on March 8

Patricia Martin Arcari, PhD, RN, will present a short program on The Resilience Factor: Tools to Handle Life Stress including tips to handle stress at work to achieve greater productivity.

A relatively new Medfield business and a new MEMO member in 2011, is home to a group of alternative health care professionals that provide clients with alternative healing therapies complementing traditional medicine.

They work with their clients to facilitate well-being and good health through various types of message, foot reflexology, Reiki, Yoga and more.

Patricia Martin Arcari, PhD, RN, a regular on her own TV show on Medfield.TV, Cable 8 and 47, will present a short program on The Resilience Factor: Tools to Handle Life Stress including tips to handle stress at work to achieve greater productivity at the event.

Dr. Arcari is co-founder of Mind Body Health Partners, an integrative health practice that helps clients develop strategies to manage the physical and emotional symptoms of stress, while maintaining balance and achieving resilience. Dr. Arcari is a Mind Body Clinical Nurse Specialist, and has trained thousands of people in stress management and resilience. She is an associate at the Benson Henry Institute for Mind Body Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital, an adjunct faculty member at the Boston College School of Nursing, and former Associate in Medicine at Harvard Medical School. 

Although a visit to their website can give more information, the evening meeting for the Medfield Employer and Merchants Organization is a must to help members see what is new in the business community, to tour the remodeled and enlarged facilities and to relax over snacks while networking and to find ways to relieve the stress of the week.

MEMO is the local business organization comprised of retailers, industries, services and professionals located in or serving Medfield. Monthly programs are designed to promote local business, network among members and learn about programs and facilities that help the individual member businesses.

MEMO is also involved in the community by sponsoring seasonal events: Discover Medfield Day in the fall, Christmas tree lighting and Santa Parade during the holiday season, Historical trolley ride in the spring and summer concerts at the Gazebo. 

It also provides scholarships to graduating seniors at Medfield and Tri County Regional Vocational Technical Schools.  Flags seen lining Main St. on major holidays are MEMO’s thanks to all local residents serving their country.
