HS Students participate in 30 hour famine to help feed hungry children around the world...

Members from the United Church of Christ Medfield Senior High Fellowship got together to go without food for 30 hours allowing their eyes (and stomachs!) to be opened to the daily realities of hunger and poverty faced by children and families around the world.

Twenty six students from Medfield, Millis and Norfolk raised over $20,000 which will be shared with World Vision with the goal of ending extreme poverty by 2030.

Every $40 raised helps feed and care for a child in need for one month. The money raised will feed 41 hungry children for one year. UCC Medfield is still accepting tax deductible donations
which can be made at 30 hour famine.

We believe that it is important to serve locally and think globally. Pictured is the team of 26 students and 8 adult leaders serving at Cradles to Crayons in Brighton.
