Hunter’s 4th Annual Run is scheduled for April 7, 2019. Hunter’s Run is a 5k and 1 mile Fun Run to raise awareness of Organ Donation.

The event was founded after the second double lung transplant of local 10 year old Medfield resident, Hunter Williams. Hunter will be celebrating his 10 year, and 4 year double lung transplant anniversaries in 2019! He will also be running the 1 Mile Fun Run.

Due to the participant growth over the past several years, Hunter’s Run Foundation has been able to donate more than $40,000 to Boston Children’s Hospital Pediatric Transplant Center. These funds specifically are allocated to families whose children are going to/have had a transplant. The initial hospital stay post-transplant can be weeks up to several months. During this time expenses can be great for the families who have to pay daily parking, food, and travel costs. Boston Children’s allocates our funds to help families during this stressful time. We are blessed to have Children’s in our backyard, as families travel all over the world to have a chance to save their child’s life. Hunter’s Run Foundation also distributes funds to other local charities such as Donate Life New England and NEADS.

Hunter’s 4th Annual Run will be held at Kingsbury Club on April 7, 2019. The 1 Mile Fun Run begins @ 8:45 am. The 5K will start immediately following the Fun Run at approximately 9 am. Registration can be found online at www.huntersrunfoundation.org and www.lightboxreg.com/hunters-ru...
