I Can't Hear You!

If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9 (NLT)

Declare with your lips. Confess with thy mouth. Say it out loud.

All the various translations, and the original Greek, emphasize this element: Speaking. Out loud. To another person.

If God knows your heart, why isn’t that enough?

Why is verbalizing your faith necessary?
