J & L Catering Receives 2017 Best Chowder from Medfield Lions

Back in early November the Medfield Lions conducted the Ninth Annual Medfield Chowder Fest held at the Center at Medfield. The event served over 150 people who thoroughly enjoyed the event and voted for their favorite chowder. The winner for the fourth time was J & L Catering of Medway. John Boardman of J & L Catering commented that “J & L was glad to support the Lions and Medfield Seniors”. Thanks go out to other area restaurants/markets who participated included Basil’s, Kingsbury Club, Avenue, Noon Hill Grill, Brothers Marketplace, and Nosh & Grog. Delicious rolls were provided by Blue Moon Bagel Café. Big Y Markets provided drinks and supplies. Proceeds from the event will be donated to Friends of Seniors Inc. (FOSI).
