Medfield Garden Club and the Medfield Public Library Host Award-Winning Landscape Designer, Warren Leach

On Thursday, March 28 at 7:00 PM, the Medfield Garden Club and the Medfield Public Library are pleased to welcome Warren Leach, owner of Tranquil Lake Nursery in Rehoboth MA, presenting "Gardening for Pollinators, Butterflies and Birds." This informative, community-wide program is designed to help homeowners create garden spaces, large and small, urban and rural, that will attract birds, butterflies and bees, gardens that will provide diversity and protection of our ecosystems. But, the sheer delight of watching and enjoying wildlife in the garden is, perhaps, the best benefit of all.

Warren Leach is a two-time winner of the prestigious National Landscape Association’s Regional Merit Award for excellence in residential landscape design. Warren is also a prominent grower of daylilies and irises, a passionate plant collector, a superb nurseryman and an admired speaker and
educator. His horticultural and design awards are many and extend over a period of thirty years. Warren has taught at numerous horticultural institutions and organizations throughout the Northeast: The University of Rhode Island, the Brown University Learning Community, Rhode Island School of Design Continuing Education, the Arnold Arboretum of Harvard University, New England Wildflower Society, Ecological Landscape Alliance, Massachusetts Horticultural Society, Tower Hill Botanic Garden, the Radcliffe Seminars and at numerous garden clubs and
horticultural organizations.
