Medfield American Legion Post 110 Holds Vets Coffee Event
In keeping with the upcoming Memorial Day activities, Medfield’s Post 110 conducted an outreach to area vets to come together for coffee and doughnuts and to share information of importance to veterans. The event held on May 18th at the Center at Medfield was attended by a group of a dozen veterans from almost every branch of the service. Leading this effort was Post 110 Adjutant Tony Centore who responded that “The Post wanted the event to serve as an informational outreach from the Post to all our fellow veterans in the local community. Veterans had the opportunity to share their experiences with the VA Medical System, Veterans benefits, and the planned Memorial Day Celebration”. The Legion hopes to conduct similar events in the near future.
Other Post 110 supporting attendees were Commander Paul Galofaro, Past Commander/Veterans Service Officer Ron Griffin, David Conner Sr. Vice Commander, and Ed Kinnen Member.
