Letter to Editor in Support of Denise Garlick, State Rep
Tuesday, Sept 4th is the State Primary. PATCH received a Letter of supportfor State Representative Denise Garlick from Medfield residents!
Dear Editor,
Our state representative, Denise Garlick, is up for re-election and we ask that Medfield vote for her on Monday, September 4. Denise has earned the respect and gratitude of many of us in Medfield who have witnessed first hand her dedication and relentless work ethic.
Representative Garlick makes it a priority to know our local issues, learn the facts and to talk to everyone involved. She attend s every Medfield town meeting and whether you live in precinct 1 or 2, all of Medfield benefits from Denise’s tireless work for our community. She not only spoke with passion against the ill-planned apartment complex that was proposed for the corner of Dale St and Rte 27, but more importantly she worked at the state house level to help defeat the project.
Denise is a strong advocate for our schools and the organizations that support education and youth services. She regularly attends MCPE fundraising galas with her daughter, Eagle Scout and Girl Scout ceremonies and is an active member of the Medfield Coalition for Suicide Prevention. This Spring she secured $30,000 in the
state’s budget for initiatives in mental health and suicide prevention education to be spent in our town.

All three members of the Medfield Board of Selectmen and four former Medfield selectmen endorse Denise (that’s two Democrats, a Republican and four “Unenrolled/Independent” voters). Their endorsements illuminate Representative Garlick’s long history of delivering results for our community. She is a true public
servant and we urge you to vote for her, too!
