MCPE’s Fall Ball and Anniversary Appeal Update

The Medfield Coalition for Public Education (MCPE) board has been busy planning the 2022 Fall Ball and the organization’s 35th Anniversary campaign.

Historically, the Fall Ball has been a biennial event, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic it last took place in 2018. This year, MCPE will invite up to 700 guests to partake in this festive evening of cocktails, appetizers, dancing, and fundraising for Medfield Public Schools.

The event will take place on Saturday, November 5 at the Cross Insurance Pavilion at Gillette Stadium from 7:00pm - 11:00pm. General Admission tickets are $150 per person.

At least $50 of each ticket price will go directly to MCPE’s operating fund to fulfill grants requested by Medfield teachers and administrators. This is a can’t-miss event for parents, caregivers, and community members looking to support the Medfield Public Schools and have a fun night out!

The MCPE board also invites local businesses to sponsor the 2022 Fall Ball so that more money raised from ticket sales can go directly to supporting the schools. Corporate sponsors will have their logo displayed across large screens around the ballroom throughout the event, providing tremendous visibility and exposure while supporting a worthwhile cause. In addition, MCPE has a tradition of running a special fundraising campaign once every five years, historically called the Annual Appeal. This year, to celebrate MCPE’s 35th Anniversary of supporting Medfield Public Schools the “Anniversary Appeal” campaign is looking to raise $100,000 and make significant anniversary gifts to each of the town’s five schools. MCPE has been working with the principals from each school to determine what they need most and what will best support the schools. This campaign’s “Reach for the Stars” theme reflects MCPE’s hope that this effort will allow our educators to think and dream big. MCPE has exciting anniversary gifts planned for each school, which will be revealed at the Fall Ball.

The Medfield Coalition for Public Education (MCPE) awards grants to support the development of innovative programs, curriculum, and enrichment for all five Medfield Public Schools. Awards favor projects that meet student needs and increase motivation to learn, as well as stimulate creativity in the classroom. MCPE is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
