Our Coalition is actively seeking new members to help us with our mission of suicide prevention. We are looking for members to attend monthly meetings, help with our initiatives mainly during suicide awareness month in September and/or mental health awareness month in May. We are looking for friendly, hands-on folks, to help with event planning and day of event help; whether a little help or a lot of help, we would be most grateful.
The Medfield Coalition for Suicide Prevention (MCSP) would like to share its ongoing efforts in our community. MCSP, funded by The Medfield Foundation and administered by Medfield Outreach, was created in September 2017 and is composed of community members and professionals who care about mental health. Recognizing that suicide has touched our town, the coalition came together to form an initiative that raises awareness and has the potential to save lives. Our mission is to promote the mental health and emotional well-being of all community members, raise awareness, reduce stigma and educate our community to help end suicide. Our vision is to build a community where suicide, self-harm and stigma have been replaced by hope, self-care and acceptance.
