MCSP and Medfield Yoga Team Up

Medfield Coalition for Suicide Prevention, MCSP, a MFi intiative, hosted a community Yoga event on Sunday, Sept 20. The event was promoted as part of September’s Suicide Prevention Awareness Month. Yoga has long been associated with positive benefits on mental health including, but not limited to: improved body awareness, mental clarity, stress reduction and cultivating mindfulness.

Tracy Buckley, of Medfield Yoga Studio, generously donated her time and expertise to lead an hour of yoga practice for almost 40 community members whose generous donations helped raise funds for MCSP. Tracy’s soothing, experienced instruction combined with the view of crisp blue skies and the sounds of outside made for a unique and relaxing experience.
