Medfield All Night Grad Party 2020 Plan Started!

All welcome to come to meeting on 23rd Oct to learn all about it.

The Medfield All Night Grad Party 2020 plan is already underway!
Kim Price and Janie Boylan have taken the reins from the previous Co-Chairs Tracy Fedack and Tracey Rogers who had set the bar very high, but with the returning volunteer teams, Kim and Janie are confident that the impressive party will continue to be an incredible event for the Seniors of 2020.
This is a time honored event reaching it’s 28th year. It really couldn’t be done without the amazing commitment from parents, volunteers and the generous support from the Medfield Community.
This is the first year that Medfield has been working with other Districts to learn how they operate their All Night Grad Parties (ANGP). Kim and Janie met with Wrentham & Franklin Co-chairs and shared some great hints and tips to streamline the planning.
“With a noticeable drop in volunteer numbers we need to start thinking smarter about how we best use our time and donated money without compromising any part of the event” Janie says.
“We’re still looking for both creative volunteers to design a wall and people who can color between the lines!” Kim adds.
“We’re asking, if you know how to use a ruler or a pair of scissors then we need you!!”
There are workshops every Wednesday in the High School Cafeteria starting in March 2020, where volunteers will meet up every week until the event on May 31st to pull all the incredible decorations together “It’s quite cathartic to color in while chatting with friends every Wednesday night - it’s like therapy!” laughs Janie.
The first meeting for ALL volunteers who want to be part of this event is planned for October 23rd at 7pm in the Medfield High School Library. Kim and Janie would like to encourage as many people to come to this meeting to learn all about the event, listen to feedback from previous years and to reveal the secret theme (which changes every year). It’s an event that relies on ‘paying it forward’ so parents of younger class years help with the understanding that there will be support when it’s their child’s Senior year.

If you or your company would like to sponsor this event to help keep the kids safe while they celebrate their amazing achievements, you can visit their website: www.medfieldangp.com and make a donation, as it’s totally reliant on donations.
