Medfield Announces the Initial Launch of Online Permitting with OpenGov July 1

The Town of Medfield is excited to announce the official roll-out of OpenGov, a new online permitting and licensing platform. With this new platform we are looking for a streamlined, user-friendly experience that has the ability to create workflows , facilitating inter-departmental communications while increasing transparency in our permitting and licensing processes.

The initial launch of OpenGov permitting access will include the Building/Inspections Department and the Department of Public Works Transfer Station Sticker applications. Residents, businesses, and contractors will now have access to the platform 24/7 to apply for permits and licenses, make secure online payments, track the status of their applications in real time, and communicate directly with town hall staff.

Keep an eye out for the launch of the Land Use Department, Fire Department and the rest of the
Department of Public Works permitting and licensing later this year.
