Medfield Author, Jim Sano, pens second novel, Gus Busbi
Jim and his wife, Joanne, have been residents of Medfield since 1986, and have two daughters, Emily and Megan. During those years, working as a teacher, consultant, and then in finance at Dell-EMC, writing novels was an unexpected path for Jim.
Last year Jim wrote his first novel, The Father’s Son, which was awarded the Catholic Writers Guild Seal of Approval Award and has been featured on several TV and Radio interviews. Sano states, “Writing these stories has been a lot of fun, but the greatest part of this journey has been the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people I would never have known and to hear the impact the books have had on their lives.”
Jim’s second book of the series, Gus Busbi, was released this month. The story is a very timely one with much of the national discussion on race this year and from a very human perspective, it is one that will interest both adult and young adult readers.

Some early reviews on Gus Busbi:
"This is one of the best contemporary stories I've read in a few years. The story is deeply moving & will make you think. You'll find yourself reflecting on your own life, areas you need to work on, areas you need to improve & maybe even some old things you need to let go." Stephen McEvoy, Book Reviews and More.
“A huge thank you to Jim Sano for bringing Father Tom back. Gus Busbi has edge-of-your-seat suspense, breathtaking sports action, romance, laughter, and tears. Most of all you will be inspired to fall deeper in love with Jesus. Another must-read from Jim Sano." Fr. Mike Coleman.
“This book tells a touching story interwoven with memorable characters that confront many of today's social and cultural issues. If you were a fan of Gran Torino, this would be a must!” Wayne Spiro.
The book is available on Amazon, Amazon Kindle, and Ingram.
