Medfield Farmers Market Continues throughout September

Peaches, blueberries, tomatoes and corn are in abundance for about another month and are on the table at the Medfield Farmers Market each Thursday from 2 to 6:30 P.M. on the lawn of the First Parish UU Church, North St.  Wards Berry Farm, the vendor that remains open at the market through the end of September, also has raspberries, green beans and squash, all picked fresh that morning.

Wards uses certified organic methods on 18  of its 160 acres and has been a popular vendor each year since the market opened in 2011.  The farm is located in Sharon and, in addition to appearing at many area farmers markets, has its own farm stand open year round, offers harvest boxes and pick your own vegetable and fruits when in season.  Check out their website www.wardsberryfarm.com or visit them on facebook but don’t forget to visit them in Medfield on Thursday and thank them for continuing the market.
