Medfield Farmers' Market opens June 14

The Medfield Farmers' Market will be open each Thursday with a large variety of vendors at 26 North St., from 2-6 PM beginning June 14

The Medfield Farmers’ Market will return to the green adjacent to Medfield’s historic First Parish Meeting House, 26 North St., on June 14 for its eighth season and will continue each Thursday through the end of September. Many market favorites will participate again from 2-6 P.M weekly or bi-weekly, along with many new vendors.

As usual the market will feature fresh produce, eggs and fish but new this year will be a bicycle servicing/repair vendor who will service bikes while you shop. The 2017 farmer, White Barn Farm, returning for this season also offers a new CSA (community supported agriculture) summer box for pick up at the market and will allow those reserving in advance to choose what produce goes in the box each week. These CSA seasonal boxes had only been offered for pick up at the farm in past years.

Local area civic and service organizations are being encouraged to participate on weekly or intermittent basis also to introduce themselves and their purposes to the community.

The marketing committee suggests marking your calendars now to help you eat healthy, to support your local area farmers and vendors and to enjoy visiting with neighbors and friends while you shop. Parking is available in the rear of the church building or along North Street in front of Meeting House Pond.
