The Medfield Girls' Varsity Field Hockey team won 2 home games in a row. Last Friday the Warriors defeated the Panthers of Holliston 1 to 0. Sophie Griffin scored her first goal of the year which proved to be the game winner. She was assisted by Tatum Samson.
Today the Lady Warriors hosted non league foe Bishop Fenwick and won 2 to 0. Anna Pagliarulo and Kate Slowe (pictured above) scored the goals. Erin Seibel assisted on the Slowe goal. Junior Jordan Wietrecki had the shutout in net turning away 11 shots. Seniors Ani Todd and Naomi Lau have been playing strong defense for Medfield.
