Medfield High School Girls' Track Defeats Dover-Sherborn, 89-33

The Medfield High School girls' track team cruised by Dover-Sherborn, 89-33, Thursday to improve to 7-1 overall and in the Tri-Valley League this season.
Medfield girls' track standout, Alex Stanton, placed first in the 400m with a time of 59.8 seconds; first in the 200m with a time of 25.8 seconds; second in the shot put with a distance of 26 feet, 7.75 inches. Warriors' Kristina Gustafson finished first in the 100m with a time of 12.8 seconds; second in the 200m with a time of 26.2 seconds.
The Medfield boys' track team defeated Dover-Sherborn, 84-52, Thursday to improve to 6-2 this season.

The Medfield girls' and boys' track teams close out its Tri-Valley regular season schedule in Westwood on Monday at 3:30 p.m. The TVL Championships will be held Wednesday.

Two days after defeating the Mustangs, 15-5, the Warriors crushed Medway, 26-6 Thursday at Curt Schilling Field to sweep the season series and improve to 11-1 overall and 11-0 in the Tri-Valley League.
Medfield head coach Matt Marenghi said seven players had a multiple hit game. Mike Keleher was 3-for-3 with six RBI and Beau Nixon crushed a 3-run home run, finishing with five RBI. The Warriors play Holliston Friday.
