Medfield High School Theatre Society Donation Drive

What do clean closets and whoopie pies have in common? They’re both great ways to support the Friends of MHS Theatre Society! Drop by the MHS Auditorium lobby on Saturday, April 11, from 9am-1pm for our Donation Drive event. We have partnered with Savers Thrift Stores—they will pay the theatre society by the pound for donations of clothing, jewelry, accessories, handbags, shoes, and linens. Plenty of MHS theatre students will be on hand to haul boxes and bags, so load up the car and let them do the heavy lifting! This will also provide a great opportunity for the student costume crew (pictured) to cull through donations to replenish their costume closet with an eye to future plays and events.

And, if you’d like to reward yourself for your good deed, we’ve got just the ticket! We’ll be selling assorted designer whoopie pies from Making Whoopie Bakery in Franklin.

Money raised at this event will fund student drama workshops, guest drama and voice coaches, musicians, and offset costs associated with our theatre productions. So, kick off your spring cleaning, support a fantastically talented and committed group of MHS students, and reward yourself with a tasty treat!

Donations can also be dropped off during business hours April 6 through April 13 at BHHS Page Realty, 489 Main Street, attention Dianne Collins-Lambert, or at 40 Evergreen Way.
