Medfield High School's Big Blue now 8-4

Senior Captain Mike Marie (pictured ) led the game in scoring with 26 last night as Medfield defeated the Westwood Wolverines in a Tri Valley League Match up 67-60. The Big Blue are in a battle for the top spot in the Tri Valley League Large Division. Senior Captain Jake Dubbs also scored double digits having himself a double double with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Senior Captain John Lowell also played well scoring 8 points and also battled the boards well for the Big Blue. Contributing off the bench for Medfield was Senior Geoff Hill and Junior Christian Higgins , both rebounding well. After a half time score of 25-25 Medfield come out playing with intensity and sharp shooting. Foul shooting sealed the deal with Medfield hitting 14-18 in the second half.

In recent action for the Big Blue, on 1/16/18 Medfield defeated Medway 61-54. Dubbs and Marie both had 15 while John Lowell scored 11. Higgins also had double digits with 10.

Medfield Hosted Dover Sherborn on 1/12/18 coming away with a 69-33 win. 3 players scored in double digits, Mitchell Gonser played aggressive defense and scored 15, Dubbs had 15, while Steven Williams contributed 10 points. Will Graziano provided a spark off the bench with 7 points.
