Medfield History Weekend Tickets Now Available
Visit historic sites, explore exhibits, take part in tours and enjoy activities!
While history books can tell great stories, having the chance to take tours, visit sites and exhibits, and touch artifacts, provides a whole different experience.
Medfield History Weekend participants have the chance to do it all!
On various dates and at different times from Friday, April 25 to Sunday, April 27, community members have the chance to experience and celebrate Medfield's heritage, and broaden their knowledge of the town's unique history.

The weekend for 2025 features:
- A kick-off event at Dwight-Derby House featuring live fiddlers and the chance to see exhibits;
- Hannah Adams exhibit and other attractions at Medfield Historical Society Museum;
- Children's scavenger hunt at Medfield Public Library;
- Vine Lake Cemetery walking tours with Town Historian Richard DeSorgher;
- Clock/steeple tours at historic Meetinghouse (First Parish Unitarian Universalist Church);
- Special attractions at Peak House Heritage Center (“Medfield Lap Robe”) and Dwight-Derby House (student curator-led tours for children);
- Additional open visitor sites at Kingsbury Grist Mill, Medfield Historical Society Museum and Lowell Mason House;
- Walking tour of former Medfield State Hospital; and
- Narrated tours of historic Medfield via Old Town Trolley.
Many of the attractions are free, while others have a fee. Ticketing has been established for virtually every site or activity as a way to help gauge attendance, and also help manage capacity if needed.
