Honoring Veterans...

On Friday, November 11, 2022, Veterans Day, the American Legion Beckwith Post 110 Medfield along with the Ladies American Legion Auxiliary honored veterans at Baxter Park.

The annual "Light Up Baxter Park" Luminaria bags outlined the brick walkways, all bags purchased to both honor and remember veterans from near and far.

A brief ceremony led by American Legion Beckwith Post 110 Medfield Commander, Lee Tredway was held, and the flags from all branches of the armed services were raised by local veterans.

Ladies Auxiliary member, Michelle Doucette coordinated the sale of the Luminaria Bags and all proceeds will be used to support the Auxiliary program for veterans and their families, the Stephen Hinkley Award and the Girls State Program
