Medfield HS Baseball Advances to Semifinals

Ryan Schworer (left picture) pitched 6 2/3 innings and delivered a clutch homeroom to lead Medfield High School Baseball past Dartmouth by the score of 10-3 at Schilling Field in Medfield, MA.

Schworer allowed 2 hits, had 7 strike outs, and allowed 3 earned runs. His 2 run homer with 2 outs in the fourth inning made the score 10-0.

Senior catcher Stephen Ledogar (right picture) had 3 hits and scored 2 runs and played well defensively for the Warriors behind the plate. Senior third baseman Josh Hirschfeld contributed with 2 doubles, 2 RBI’s, and scored twice. Senior right fielder George Sawan also had 2 hits and he had three RBI’s.

Medfield is now 17-5 overall and will play Plymouth North. (time/place TBA)
