Fiction Book Club
Tuesday, September 18, 7:00-8:00 p.m.
Free; no registration required
We're back from our summer hiatus and this month we'll be reading Small Great Things by Jodi Picoult. This book is a remarkable achievement for a writer at the top of her game, complete with unflinching insights, richly layered characters, and a page-turning plot with a gripping moral dilemma at its heart.
Mystery Book Club
Thursday, September 20, 1:00-2:00 p.m.

For this Mystery Book Club book, we're reading and discussing Magpie Murders by Anthony Horowitz, we'll have copies at the library or you can request one.

Needle Felted Birds

We'll miss our feathered friends when they fly South, so come in and make a felted friend to keep you company this winter! Needle felting is an age-old technique, but quite simple to learn. We'll have everything you need but feel free to bring in a picture or two if you have a favorite bird you'd like to replicate. No experience necessary. Please register as space is limited.
Lego Club

The library is so proud and pleased to welcome author and Medfield native Mark Sullivan to discuss his
popular and riveting historical novel, Beneath a Scarlet Sky!
Join us to learn more about this tale that captures a piece of history, based on extensive interviews and
research, a story of of courage and intrigue, love and redemption, tragedy and hope.
Registration is not required, but fill out the optional form on our events page and receive a reminder about this event.

Barn Babies

During this hands-on program, children will be able to interact with a variety of animals including a diapered
goat, a little potbellied pig, lots of baby bunnies, chicks or ducks, puppies and kittens! Ages 3 and up.
Register for either the 2:00 p.m. or 2:30 p.m. event. When registering, please be sure to enter the accurate # of children attending as there is a strict limit. Registration required and begins Sept. 28th.
Family Games and Puzzles Day

Makerspace Open House & Birthday Party

It's been a year since our Makerspace opened and we are celebrating! Come check out all the new
equipment, tools and toys we've added to the space, see demonstrations of the 3D printer and vinyl cutter, and find out how you and your family can utilize the Makerspace during library hours. Plus, there's gonna be cake!
Make A Book
