Author of the Month Night - Mo Willems Books!
Thursday, September 27, 7:00-7:45 p.m.
Free, no registration required
We love Mo Willems Books!! Enjoy reading books by beloved author, Mo Willems, all month long and drop in with the family for this casual book club, featuring a read-a-loud by a librarian, a craft and an activity. Ages 4 and up with an adult. Looking ahead, we'll be sharing the love for Dav Pilkey Books on October 16 and celebrating Kate DiCamillo Books on November 15!

Mark Sullivan: Book Talk & Signing

The library is so proud and pleased to welcome author and Medfield native Mark Sullivan to discuss his popular and riveting historical novel, Beneath a Scarlet Sky!
Join us to learn more about this tale that captures a piece of history, based on extensive interviews and research, a story of of courage and intrigue, love and redemption, tragedy and hope.

Barn Babies
Friday, October 5, 2:00-2:25 & 2:30-2:55 p.m.
Free; registration required
During this hands-on program, children will be able to interact with a variety of animals including a diapered
goat, a little potbellied pig, lots of baby bunnies, chicks or ducks, puppies and kittens! Ages 3 and up.
Register for either the 2:00 p.m. or 2:30 p.m. event. When registering, please be sure to enter the accurate # of children attending as there is a strict limit. Registration required and begins Sept. 28th.
Family Games and Puzzles Day

Makerspace Open House & Birthday Party

It's been a year since our Makerspace opened and we are celebrating! Come check out all the new
equipment, tools and toys we've added to the space, see demonstrations of the 3D printer and vinyl cutter, and find out how you and your family can utilize the Makerspace during library hours. Plus, there's gonna be cake!
Make A Book

Blood Pressure screening with Debbie Bernabei

Please join Medfield's Public Health nurse, Debbie Bernabei, at the Medfield Public Library the 2nd Monday of the month from 10:30-11:30 to get your blood pressure checked and to ask your simple health questions and questions about home and community-based care. If Debbie doesn't know, she will certainly find out!
We are pleased to be working with the town of Medfield and Debbie to be bringing this important service to our patrons!
Upcycled T-Shirt Infinity Scarves

It's that time of year again, but don't pack away all those great summer t-shirts...Turn them into a fabulous
scarf you can wear all winter long! Bring in at least 2 old t-shirts (they need to be that stretchy, t-shirt fabric
and the more shirts you have, the more variety your scarf will have) then cut them up and sew the pieces back
together to make a patchwork scarf. This is a great project for all sewing skill levels, including "I've never used
a sewing machine in my life!" Seriously, no sewing experience necessary. Please register as space is limited.
