Medfield Lions Club announces and congratulates this year's 1st and 2nd place Peace Post Contest winners.

Medfield Lions Peace Post Contest Winners!

For over three decades, Lions clubs around the globe, including the Medfield Lions Club, have been sponsoring a very special art contest in schools and youth groups. Creating peace posters gives children everywhere the chance to express their visions of peace and inspire the world through art and creativity.

This year's theme was Peace Through Service.

Student's age 11, 12 or 13 as of November 15, 2020, were eligible to participate in the International Peace Poster Contest and the Medfield Lions are pleased to announce the 1st place and 2nd place winners...Congrats to:

1st place: Sophia O'Toole, Blake Middle School, $100 recipient

2nd place: Mason Paguio, Blake Middle School $50 recipient

The Medfield Lions Club request any unused Peace Poster Art kits that were picked up by students who chose not to submit a final poster be returned to the Medfield Library if possible. Thank you!

The Lions Club is the world's largest service organization. Being a Lion is about leading by example, building relationships and improving the world through kindness. It's 1.4 million caring men and women serving together to make a lasting impact and change lives. Medfield's chapter

The Club holds a dinner meeting on the first Wednesday of each month but due to COVID-19 those meetings are currently on hold.
