"The car was travelling too fast to successfully make the turn and hit cars that were waiting to enter Route 27 from South Street," Meaney said. "As a result of the crash [Wilson's] vehicle ended up on its side."

Medfield Police and Fire units responded to the scene, closing that section of South Street for about an hour, Meaney said. Two vehicles were towed and one individual from one of the cars Wilson's vehicle struck was transported to the hospital for "non life-threatening injuries." Wilson did have a passenger in his car but both were uninjured.
