Medfield Offering Cooling Centers During Heatwave

Medfield Fire Chief Carrico just announced 3 locations which will serve as "Cooling Centers" during this heatwave.

A Message From MFD Chief William Carrico, also the Director of Medfield Emergency Management

Mass 211 will provide information on available cooling center locations for residents.

During the heatwave that will last through the weekend of July 23/24, the following locations will be made available as cooling centers.

Residents using these centers will be responsible for bringing their own food, water, and electronic devices/chargers.

No transportation will be provided.

Medfield COA – The Center at Medfield, One Icehouse Rd, Medfield

Open: Monday thru Thursday 10am-4pm, Friday 10am-1pm, Saturday 10am-3pm, and Closed on Sunday

Medfield Public Library, 468 Main Street, Medfield

Open: Monday thru Friday 10am-6pm, Saturday 10am-2pm, and Closed on Sunday

Public Safety Building – Training Room, 112 North Street, Medfield

Training Room: Sunday 10am to 6 pm
