Snail Mail Letter Writing Session *For Adults
Thursday, March 28, 12:00-2:00 p.m.

Remember the joy of getting a letter in the mail? You know, the real mail? Drop by the library between noon and 2 p.m. to drop someone a line and make their day! We'll have stationery, pens, envelopes and some fun collage materials if you want to make a personalized postcard. We'll even put a stamp on your correspondence and post it for you! All you need to bring is your address book. (If you no longer have an address book, bring your phone so you can text your letter's recipient and ask for their mailing address!) There's no need to register for this event but sign up if you'd like an email reminder.

The Medfield Garden Club and the Medfield Public Library are pleased to welcome Warren Leach, owner of Tranquil Lake Nursery in Rehoboth MA to present "Gardening for Pollinators, Birds and Butterflies". This informative, community-wide program is designed to help homeowners create garden spaces, large and small, urban and rural, that will attract birds, butterflies and bees, gardens that will provide diversity and protection of our ecosystems. But, the sheer delight of watching and enjoying wildlife in the garden is, perhaps, the best benefit of all.

LEARN TO KNIT-Four Week Course for Beginners (Adult & Teen)
Tuesday, April 2, 4:00-5:00 p.m.
Free; registration required
This Four Week Course is designed for Beginner Knitters-that is, those with little to absolutely no experience! You'll learn basic knitting techniques to get you started and, if you work on your project between classes, at the end of the month you'll end up with a completed coaster or snack mat, as well as a hat!
Adults and Teens in 6th grade and above are very welcome! Space for this class is extremely limited.
We understand that life happens, but please register only if you fully expect to be able to attend all four classes on the following Tuesdays: April 2, April 9, April 23, April 30 (NO CLASS April 16)
Bandana Bunnies!

Come in and make your very own Bandana Bunny! These little sweeties can be made on the sewing machine or sewn by hand--either way, no sewing experience is necessary. And bonus, unlike those other bunnies, these are calorie-free! Please register as space is limited.

Join real life scientists Elizabeth Bless and Sandra Pearl to learn how to decipher and create hidden messages using math, logic and deductive reasoning skills. Each session will feature a famous secret code used in history and the code breakers who solved it! Grade 3-5 welcome. Please register as space is limited. Medfield Library announces reoccurring activities
The STEAM Room – Medfield Library’s Makerspace
Mondays and Wednesdays, 3:00-5:00 p.m.
Thursdays, 4:00-6:00 p.m.

Patrons of all ages can drop in to use the Makerspace whenever the library is open! However, during the days and times listed above, library staff is also there to help with the equipment, tools and toys we have available. We've got a sewing machine, vinyl cutter, 3D pens, and jewelry making, embroidery & duct tape craft supplies-just to name a few! We'll also have a craft or activity set up and ready to go if you're unsure of what to try. And as always, the STEAM Room is open and available for use anytime that the library is open for everyone aged 16+ and/or children accompanied by a parent or guardian.
