Overall test scores have generally returned to 2019, pre-COVID-19 levels.
"You hear a lot in the media about learning loss due to the pandemic. Our teachers, in partnership with families, did a fantastic job making sure students were working hard and focused,” said
Superintendent Marsden. "We always have room for improvement, but we’ve come out of COVID-19 better than most.”

The district also credits efforts to provide additional supports and services to ensure high-risk students did not fall behind their peers.
“Last year, and really this year, teachers have gained a feeling of normalcy,” Dr. Power said. “These scores show how far we have come.”
The District will use test results to determine areas of strength, as well as shape grade level and department goals to improve curriculum and instruction.
