Medfield residents graduate from The Rivers School in Weston

WESTON, MA— Medfield residents Ryan J. Bellavance and Madeline A. Branka were among 90 students to graduate from The Rivers School in Weston on Friday, June 12.

Ryan was a four-year member of the boys’ varsity soccer teams, helping lead the Red Wings to Independent School League and New England Preparatory School Athletic Council championships as a sophomore. The son of Kevin and Jill Bellavance, he will attend Colgate University in the fall.

Maddie was an honor roll student, senior captain of the girls’ varsity lacrosse team, and a three-trimester veteran of the rigorous Advanced Photography class. She participated in the New Orleans service trip through Rivers and spent a summer working at a camp for students with intellectual disabilities, which in turn led to an internship at Crossroads, a local school for students with Autism. The daughter of Jerry and Emily Branka, she will attend Villanova University in the fall.
