Medfield Seniors enjoyed their Christmas Luncheon...

Medfield Seniors Enjoy 36th Annual Christmas Party

On Sunday December 9th almost 150 Medfield seniors gathered at the American Legion to celebrate the season with good cheer and fellowship provided by the Medfield American Legion, the Medfield Lions, the Medfield Sportsman's Club, the Medfield Council on Aging and FOSI.

Friends of the Seniors (FOSI) provided the cheese and crackers and the Medfield Legion
Auxiliary made delicious desserts. Working the hall setup were Al Manganello Legion Manager, while the Medfield Lions, under the direction of Lion Barbara Gips, provided table service. Other event Luncheon contributors included MEMO, Medfield Legion Auxiliary and North Street Market. The Christmas luncheon, catered by Basil Restaurant consisted of soup and a delicious chicken dinner with rice and veggies.

The Medfield Lions Club, celebrating its 74rd anniversary is a member of the world's largest service club with nearly 1.4 million men and women in 210 countries who volunteer their time and energy to serve their communities and lead the effort to prevent and reverse blindness. Lions
are members of the world's largest and most active service club organization.
