Medfield VSO Ron Griffin Honored by American Legion and State

At the September 26th 2017 Post 110 membership meeting Legionnaires paid special tribute to Medfield’s outgoing Veterans Service Officer (VSO) Ron Griffin. Ron has held this position for the past 7 years; providing support and assistance to Medfield’s veterans. To those who know Ron he is most generous with his services to veterans and any other resident in times of need. Dealing with the VA can be a daunting task but with Ron’s experience and know how rest assured Ron will be on the case and not easily slowed down by bureaucratic red tape. Ron’s resignation as VSO will be sorely missed by local vets. Post Commander David Conner awarded Ron a plaque citing Ron’s Exemplary Service to the American Legion and the Medfield community.

In addition State Representative Denise Garlick presented Ron with a Proclamation from the Great and General Court acknowledging the valuable service Ron provided to veterans.
