Medfield Whiz Kid: Blake Middle School Student, Kristin Buscone

Buscone represented Medfield as 1 of 351 Ambassadors to participate in the state's Project 351.

Whiz Kid's Accomplishment: Buscone was selected as Medfield's representative for Governor Deval Patrick's community initiative, Project 351 in January and offered community service to various organizations around Boston.

Whiz Kid's Key to Awesomeness: Buscone helped out by painting, with her Project 351 group, part of an inspirational mural in the Blackstone Elementary School cafeteria. The group also made blankets for students, attendance charts for teachers and helped make vocabulary flash cards for students to improve their MCAS scores. In addition to be a peer-leader and active in community service projects, Buscone also participates in Blake Middle School's student council, plays basketball and tennis and is active in her church.
