Medfield Woman Arrested for Allegedly Beating Husband

Medfield Police arrested Susan Daniel on April 2 on assault and battery charges.

A Medfield woman was arrested on April 2 after her husband called Medfield Police to report she was beating him, according to police reports.

Susan Roberta Daniel, 50, of 307 Wilkens Glen Rd. was charged with assault and battery as a result of the incident that allegedly occurred with her husband, Charles Daniel.

Medfield Police responded to a call by Charles Daniel at 8:10 p.m. on April 2 at 307 Wilkens Glen Rd. Charles Daniel requested that officers remove his wife because she was beating him, according to police reports. Medfield Police officer James O'Neil responded to the scene and requested an EMT for an evaluation of Charles Daniel's injuries.

"Mr. Daniel had minor injuries that were checked by Medfield Fire," said Medfield Chief of Police Robert Meaney Jr. "He declined any treatment."

Charles Daniel suffered a bloody nose, according to police reports and filed a 209A restraining order against his wife, Susan Daniel at the Medfield Police Station.

Susan Daniel made bail and was released to her brother. 

"After the initial court appearance it will be a few weeks before anything else occurs at court," said Meaney.
