A Medfield resident is trying to do something to reverse the negativity on social media that he says is shredding apart the community fabric of the town.
Rick Fink, a stay-at-home dad of two children in the Medfield Public Schools produced a short and light-hearted public service announcement with a simple message, be positive.

“I was part of the problem. Now I’m going to be part of the solution. People aren’t attacking arguments anymore, they’re attacking people. I don’t think anybody flipping out online is going to be suspected of ever winning a Lincoln-Douglas debate back when they were in high school, ” jokes Fink, who left all town social media groups over one year ago. “We need to do better. The fighting is embarrassing and I don’t want to raise our kids in this kind of environment.”
