MEDFORD, MA – A meeting later this month will provide the Medford community with a "general update" on the Green Line Extension project and the ongoing early works construction in town. The meeting is June 21 from 6-7:30 p.m. at Medford City Hall Council Chambers.
"Abutters can expect to see crews engaging in soil borings and earth work in the vicinity of Tufts University, and on track structure and signal systems in Somerville," an informational site said. There may also be increased construction vehicle traffic near Colby Street and Tufts. Work will be occurring along the railroad right-of-way in Medford roughly between Harvard Street and north of College Avenue, and in Somerville roughly between McGrath Highway and Prospect Street and along New Washington Street and Cobble Hill Road.
