Local Savvy Women’s Alliance Chapters to Host a "Meet and Greet with Local Farmers"

Several local chapters of the Savvy Women’s Alliance (Medfield, Wrentham/Plainville and Holliston) will be hosting a “Meet & Greet with Your Local Farmers” gathering at the Norfolk Public Library, Saturday, February 23, 2-5 p.m.

Have you been thinking about joining a CSA (community supported agriculture) so that you can serve your family fresh, local produce each week? Are you curious about organic farming and what the benefits are? Are you new to the area and want to find out where the local farm stands are and what they have to offer?

There will be a presentation on CSA’s and organic farming by a representative of NOFA, the Northeast Organic Farmers Association. In addition to information on organic farming and CSAs, many farmers/CSAs in the area will be on hand for you to meet and to answer any of your questions.
