MEGA Hosts Boston Classic Men's Gymnastic Meet Feb 25th-26th

The Boston Classic is a boys gymnastics meet in Millis featuring 635 athletes from every New England state. Featured session Sat @ 6:30pm.

The Massachusetts Elite Gymnastics Academy (MEGA) of Millis will hold its 2017 Boston Classic Gymnastics Meet at 725 Main St., Millis on Feb 25th-26th. Thirty five men’s teams from every New England state will converge for the meet.

The weekend’s highlight features Level 10 gymnasts Saturday, Feb 25th beginning at 6:30pm. These athletes are at the highest level of the USA Gymnastics Junior Olympic Men’s program. Many will join college teams around the country in September 2017. This is a unique opportunity to watch high level gymnastics locally.

Medfield’s Addison Chung will compete in his final Boston Classic before becoming a University of Iowa Hawkeye. The MEGA team is coached by Medfield resident, Levon Karakhanyan.

The two day event includes 635 gymnasts ages 5-18. Each gymnast will compete in all six Olympic events: floor, pommel horse, still rings, vault, parallel bars and horizontal bar. Individual and team titles will be awarded within each level and age group. It is the final opportunity for athletes from Massachusetts to qualify for the State Championships to be held March 17th-19th in Middleton.

Massachusetts Elite Gymnastics Academy in Millis, MA offers gymnastics, trampoline, tumbling and Tae Kwon-do classes for girls and boys of all ages and ability.
