“A Midsummer Night in Fall”

Medfield High School Theatre Society will be performing William Shakespeare’s comedy, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”, on November 17th at 7pm and November 18th at 2pm at MHS’s Lowell Mason Auditorium.

Journey to a fantastical forest where fairies and magic reign in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Shakespeare's most enchanting comedy. Deep in the forest, four lovers and a troupe of actors find themselves caught in a jealous lover's spat between the fairy king and queen. With love potions, impish fairies, envy, and magical transfiguration in the mix, the course of true love certainly does not run smooth.

“When I told my mother how funny the show is, she just laughed and told me it's ‘adorable’ that I think Shakespeare is funny. The thing is, though, it really is!” says director of the MHS Theatre Society, Ms. McCoy. “There's a reason Shakespeare stands the test of time. There's a little something for everyone and if you don't believe me, come prove me wrong.”

Come lose yourself in these Shakespearean shenanigans!
Tickets are $12, and are available at
