Montrose School Presents Children's Theater Production

Montrose School’s Summer Program Musical Theater Class will present their production of The Emperor’s New Clothes on Friday, July 22 at 2:45 PM in the Arts & Athletics Center at Montrose School. The event is free and open to the public.

Girls in grades 4 - 6 from Medfield and surrounding towns have spent the past two weeks preparing the show for this performance. Director and Montrose School Fine & Performing Arts Department Coordinator Holly Sullivan has shepherded the girls through every step of the show from casting to costuming and set design.

“The girls are looking forward to presenting the product of their two weeks work for families, friends and the community,” said Mrs. Sullivan. “The goal of the program is to give girls a taste of all aspects of musical theater. It is also a great opportunity for young children to participate as audience members in a child-friendly atmosphere.”
