MPD Offering 2nd Annual MPD Youth Academy Summer Program for 7th and 8th Graders

Hello Medfield Families,
It is that time of year again when the Medfield Police Department offers its second annual Medfield Police Youth Academy Summer Program (for 6th, 7th and 8th graders) which will be held June 22-26, 2026.

This is a free, 5-day, 8 hr/day program where your child will receive insight into the world of policing. The inaugural year received overwhelmingly positive feedback and we could not wait to offer it again. Your child will have the unique experience of learning and practicing leadership skills, respect, compassion, civic engagement, and integrity.

Through team-based activities and demonstrations, your child will learn to work outside of their comfort zone and prepare for different life situations. This program is designed to provide meaningful connections between youth and the police.

Please see the attached program advertisement and Google Form to submit interest. Once you submit this Google Form, we will email you the registration documents. Please note that this program is being offered at no cost to promote our commitment to community engagement.
