New Vendors and Old Ones At Weekly Farmers' Market

Help for gardening needs will be at this week's Farmers' Market. The "Get-UP Bucket" is something new. Come see what this is all about.

This Thursday, the Medfield Farmers’ Market will feature a new vendor’s product guaranteed to help the “do it yourself gardener.” From 2 to 6 P.M. weekly, market vendors occupy the lawn of the historic First Parish Meeting house on North St. with tents, awnings and /or trucks to lure customers to their booths. Joining them on July 12 will be Charlene and Bill Williams with their new all-purpose gardening bucket (patent pending).

Many people claim they have trouble getting back up from their kneeling position after weeding or planting. This family’s answer to the universal complaint is a multi use gardening accessory that can help carry your small hand tools, collect weeds, harvest etc. and most importantly assist you in standing back up. They have named it, appropriately, “The Get Up bucket”.

Of course the market also includes Starbucks booth where customers can find information and spent coffee grounds to enrich the soil and blooms. Others: Little Beehive Farm and White Barn Farm, will have flowers and herbs to plant and there is the Lightning Ridge farm offering favorite recipes for cooking their lamb cuts and the veggie dishes to go with them.

The market is certain to have something for everyone, but not every vendor attends weekly but there are usually at least 10 or more different vendors. It is important to check out what’s new by visiting the market often. A weekly trip is suggested. Parking is available in the rear of the church and along North St.
