October 19 Last Day for Farmers' Market in Medfield
October 19 is last day for Medfield shoppers to visit the local farmers' market and experience its farm to table offerings
The chairperson of the Medfield Farmers Market, Susan Stromgren, announced last week that the new ending date for the market, found on the grounds of the historic First Parish Meeting House on North St., will be open Thursday October 19 from 2 -6:30 P.M.
Weekly farmers, White Barn Farm whose produce also includes that of Fairmount Fruit Farm, and Narragansett Creamery; and the Little Bee Hive Farm, will be on hand with their sale of fresh fruit, vegetables, eggs, cheese, and honey. Jordan Brothers Seafood has fresh seafood, never frozen; Wagwan offers prepared Jamaican jerk fast food chicken and pork cones as well as ready to heat and serve side dishes and The Pangea Cuisine catering truck offers less spicy, more paleo, prepared items and fast foods. A bake sale table from the church members offers a variety of home baked specialties and donates all its proceeds to the church. All natural cakes are also available from Melt in Your Mouth Bakery; Confectionary Creations sells homemade jellies, jams, relishes and pickles. See who else will be there before the market closes.
This will be a festive event as the seventh season of the Medfield Market prepares to close. Parking is available at the rear of the church and along North St. A children’s activity table with puzzles and coloring books is sponsored by the church as are café tables and chairs for resting or eating a purchased snack while shopping among the vendors
