October is Green Month...

Most SATURDAYS during the month of October, there will be special collection in the "Swap Area"" at the Transfer Station between 9am-1pm.

October is GREEN MONTH...

The Transfer Station and Recycling Committee has announced that 4 out of the 5 SATURDAYS during the month of OCTOBER, there will be special collection in the "Swap Area" at the Transfer Station between 9am-1pm.

You must have a Transfer Station sticker to participate.

October 3 - Electronics Recycle - there will be a charge for TV's and some computer monitors...

  • Wood/Projection/Console TVs - $30.
  • TVs 24" and above $23.
  • TVs below 24" $15.
  • Computer Monitors $15.
  • Computer Monitors Flat Screen FREE

Exact change CASH or CHECKS (made payable to Data Recycling of New England) are accepted.

All other electronics are recycled FREE of Charge!

October 10 - Building Supplies - Click HERE for more information and what items will be accepted!

October 10 - Baseball Equipment - these items will be donated to underprivileged kids in the Dominican Republic.

October 17 - Clothing and Other Textiles - these items will be donated to the Epilepsy Foundation.

October 31 - Compost Bins Preordered "Pick Up"

NOTE: There will be No Styrofoam Collection during October in Medfield due to Covid-19, however, Conigliaro Industries (36 Fountain St, Framingham) will accept Styrofoam. They charge $10 per bag (contractor size). Click HERE for more Conigliaro Industries Info.

October is a great time to recycle unused items in your house. The items collected are either recycled or reused so this is a very environmentally friendly activity. Thank you for participating!
