Paul Hinkley Community Room Dedication
Honoring Medfield's own, Paul Hinkley , the Tilden Village Community Room Dedication held on Tuesday, August 9th.
Tilden Village Community Room Dedication Honor Paul Hinkley!
Medfield's own, Paul Hinkley, was celebrated on August 9th just outside the front door of the Medfield Tilden Village Community Room. The newly installed sign above the door reads, "Paul Hinkley Community Room"!
Hinkley worked over 30 years maintaining the property at Tilden Village and was promoted to Maintenance Supervisor more than a decade ago. His work ethic was outstanding and he hardly missed a day of work over the course of his career. Hinkley's job required him to oversee many projects on the property, working during many a winter storm, in addition to all the other challenges in other seasons. Hinkley was very proud of his work ethic and attendance.
Paul retired in the fall of 2021, but this special honor was held just this month.

Hinkley's dedication to the residents at Tilden Village and his love of his job was evident, hence the Medfield Housing Authority Board voted to name the community room after him and a sign was made to hang over the front door, prominently displaying this dedication.
Paul's family, friends, Tilden Village residents and members of the MHA Board celebrated together on August 9th with Grandy's Ice Cream truck treats for all!
