Open House at the Medfield Fire Department
It is Fire Prevention Week and Wednesday evening many moms, dads and kids stopped by the Public Safety Building Medfield Fire Department's Open House.
Medfield Fire Chief William Carrico along with many of the FF and EMTs were at the Station answering questions and meeting people. The children enjoyed climbing on fire engines and holding fire hose directed at a "flame" with the assistance of the Medfield Firefighters.
Plastic Fire chief hats were given out to kids and pizza, donated by Papa Gino's, was enjoyed by young and old. Youngsters were also given coloring books and activities books to learn about fire safety.
