PMC Riders Were Welcomed Back in Medfield
On Saturday morning, August 7th, the 2021 Dana Farber Cancer Institute PMC Riders from Wellesley to Bourne rode through Medfield.
Pan Mass Challenge Riders Are Back in Medfield
Medfield residents could be seen holding signs and cheering as they welcomed back the PMC Riders early Saturday morning on North Street.
The PMC is back, although it was quite obvious that the number of riders on the streets of Medfield was significantly less than in pre-Covid years.
Saturday's PMC riders in Medfield were heading to Bourne under a sunny sky but the humidity was beginning to take hold as these riders pedaled toward Cape Cod. Forty-seven Medfield residents were registered to take part in the 2021 Pan Mass Challenge. (See names below).

Medfield's finest stopped traffic at the intersection of North St. / Main St. aiding the riders to cross the road as they headed down Pleasant Street to stay on course.
This year the PMC has added more routes, giving riders more choices on how to participate including PMC Reimagined.

PMC Reimagined riders ride wherever and whenever they want – except for the PMC routes on PMC weekend. This option is intended to provide flexibility for those that want to contribute to the fight against cancer without specific time or mileage constraints.
The PMC donates 100 percent of every rider-raised dollar to Dana-Farber, accounting for 64 percent of the Jimmy Fund's annual revenue. Take a look at the photos, maybe you'll recognize one of these incredible riders!
