Police Log Including Stolen iPad, Fire under West Street Bridge, and Mom's Not Answering

Tuesday, Oct. 16

6:42 a.m., Main Street. Caller said he hit a deer on Main Street by the Dover line. It was found near Trailside. 

9:37 a.m., Pine Street. Caller reported that sometime overnight someone stole her $900 iPad out of her car.  At 8:05 p.m., the woman called back to say she "pinged" the iPad and located it at a home in Framingham. 

2:16 p.m., Pine Street. Caller requested the police conduct a well-being check on the her 92 year old mother. The mother was okay and will call her daughter.

2:18 p.m., Oak Street. Caller reported annoying and harassing phone calls. 

5:54 p.m., West Street. Caller reported a fire under the bridge on West Street by Dover Road. 

7:23 p.m., Copperwood Road, Dover Farm Road, Philip Street, Marlyn Road, Clayton Street, Green Street, Colonial Street, Blacksmith Drive, and Cypress Street. Callers reported feeling the earthquake.  

Wednesday, Oct. 17

8:10 a.m., Route 27. Police received a report of a flat bed truck traveling from Sherborn on Route 27 into Medfield which struck a vehicle in Sherborn. Police located the tractor trailer (with Missouri plates) on Route 27 near West Street. Sherborn will handle paperwork.

12:13 p.m., Plain Street. Caller asked police to patrol her street more often because last week she saw a suspicious vehicle with two men in it who got out and knocked on her door during the day.

12:55 p.m., Pleasant Street. Caller reported a suspicious vehicle in a neighbor's driveway. Police discovered it belonged to someone who was cleaning the boiler. 

4:19 p.m., Pondview Avenue. Caller reported a suspicious vehicle being driven by a teenager. Gone on arrival.

7:02 p.m., Shawnee Road. Caller reported a threat that was made to harm him. 

7:30 p.m., Curve Street. Police investigated an abandoned 911 call. Police called back and a female subject said she had a problem with a worker who is now leaving.
