Premiere of All the World’s a Gazebo

By Medfield TV

As the great poet and playwright William Shakespeare once said, “All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players.” This is true for our local community theater group, The Gazebo Players of Medfield, who just celebrated their 20th year in production. They have made many stages their home throughout the last two decades, but never forgot their roots at the Medfield Library Gazebo, where it all began in 2002.

Twenty years later, The Gazebo Players are still going strong with performances held every summer in Medfield, Walpole, and several surrounding towns. To celebrate this momentous year, Cynthia Small, long-time actress for The Gazebo Players, called upon the team at Medfield TV to help her bring to life the long-standing tradition of sharing Shakespeare’s famous works to the Norfolk County community. Directed by Medfield TV team members Katie Duval and Amanda Timons, All the World’s a Gazebo encapsulates the history of The Gazebo Players in a fun, lighthearted, and entertaining way. With interviews by the founder, current players, and children of the players (now, board members), viewers will feel like they’ve become part of The Gazebo Players’ family.
